White House: U.S. delegation to Pakistan on Saturday; Vance will be on standby domestically

According to the White House, on April 24, local time, Iran has taken the initiative to reach out and has requested face-to-face talks. The relevant U.S. personnel will be on standby and will be ready to fly to Pakistan at any time, if needed, to take part in the negotiations. At the same time, U.S. Vice President Vance will remain in the country on standby. U.S. President’s special envoy Wittekov and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner are expected to travel to Pakistan before Saturday to advance the negotiation process with Iran. (CCTV News)
