Iran claims that the attack on the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia is unrelated to Iran and is the work of Israel
The Public Relations Department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement released on April 4 local time that it condemns the U.S. allegations that the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia was attacked by Iran. The statement said the incident has nothing to do with Iran and noted that, given the strategic interests of the armed forces in the region, the operation “undoubtedly was carried out by Israel.” The Revolutionary Guard said Iran had previously clearly announced the range of its strike targets and had issued the necessary warnings to neighboring countries about Israel’s conduct of stirring up unrest in the region.
