Gate News reports, April 26 — Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan published an opinion piece titled "Gathering Greater Energy Through Innovation and Collaboration," outlining the latest views on global asset allocation trends and ETF market development.
Chan emphasized that global investors are accelerating their diversification of asset allocation, reducing reliance on single markets or assets.
As investment themes continue to evolve, (ETFs) tracking assets are expanding continuously, from physical and futures contracts of precious metals, technology and semiconductor companies, to digital assets.
Chan pointed out that these ETF products, covering different themes and featuring various leverage characteristics, provide investors with efficient and transparent multi-asset investment tools.
The diversification of ETF offerings reflects broader changes in how institutional and retail investors manage portfolio risk and seek exposure to emerging asset classes.
