Sometimes looking at the mempool is like watching a hospital registration window; when no one is there, it gets congested as everyone queues up together. You click send, thinking "it's on the chain" and it's done, but in reality, you've just taken a number: someone pays extra to cut in line, someone gets stuck in the middle and keeps getting bumped, your transaction might wait for a long time, and it could ultimately fail, but you've already wasted the time. A few days ago, I also experienced this— the page kept spinning, and I refresh/retry twice out of boredom, resulting in several pending transactions for the same issue, which was quite embarrassing.

Recently, AI Agents and automated trading narratives have become popular again, and it feels more like a competition of "who queues better + who pays more," in other words, safety and slippage are the real killers. Anyway, I avoid moving when there's congestion; if I really need to act, I prefer to go slower and not get caught up in emotional chasing with constant confirmations.
