Recently, people in the group keep saying that on-chain data is "lagging," but often it's not your internet connection; it's the indexer/Subgraph that hasn't caught up yet, or the RPC is being rate-limited. You click to view a transaction that clearly went on-chain, but the front end is still waiting for it to organize the events... it just feels like a half-beat delay.

Lately, this has been more obvious on the testnet when earning points. Everyone is watching to see if the "mainnet will issue tokens," and a bunch of requests hit the public RPC, sometimes directly returning 429, and the page just spins. To put it simply, the chain hasn't stopped; the data channel is clogged. Anyway, over the weekend, when I see this kind of situation, I first check if the block explorer matches up, then decide whether to keep clicking or not—don't rush to suspect you're being hacked. Also, don't get too anxious in the group chat; spamming back and forth is useless.
