BlackRock IBIT Bitcoin Options OI Tops Deribit at $27.6B
BlackRock’s IBIT Bitcoin options open interest climbed to $27.61 billion on Friday and surpassed Deribit’s $26.9 billion market for the first time. Volmex data shows IBIT call positioning is mainly targeting a short-term Bitcoin price of $109,709, versus about $106,000 in the Deribit market. IBIT options also have an average maturity about two months longer than Deribit options.
