I almost spent all the royalties just now... I accidentally missed a digit when copying the address, and only realized the on-chain warning was wrong before transferring, my heart rate shot up.
Calming down and thinking about it, everyone is arguing whether secondary royalties should be collected or not, basically it's about "who pays for the creation": the platform, the buyer, or the creator themselves absorbing the cost.
Now attention shifts too quickly, memes and celebrities shout and rush in, lively as it is, most of the time it's just veteran players advising newcomers not to take the last step in that storyline. Royalties are the same, when the market cools down, they cut the "invisible costs" first, but the creators' bills won't automatically reset just because emotions subside.
Anyway, now I pay more attention to whether this project is really supporting the creators or just nurturing the next wave of narratives... I'll just watch from the sidelines for now, and stop trembling.
