These past few days, I've been reminding myself of one word: stop.

Stop clicking on random delegated votes, stop watching on-chain who is "speaking up" for you, stop refreshing the group chat with those posts about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging, the more you refresh, the more anxious you get.

In essence, governance is mostly about managing people's attention, not the protocol itself.
Delegating with one click is convenient, but over time it turns into a few big players or agents holding meetings, and you and I are like throwing votes into a black box, only able to see the results at the end.

My approach is very mechanical: default to not delegating, and if I do, set a reminder for the expiration date, quickly scan the candidate's address and voting history, and if the cost can be calculated, do so; if not, just stop.
Anyway, I’d rather participate a few times less than turn governance into a oligarchic auto-renewal system.
