Lopatto criticized Silicon Valley tech companies in the article for no longer solving user problems but instead forcing consumers to buy unnecessary products, mentioning concepts like NFTs and the metaverse. Additionally, Luckey mentioned that he has indeed read The Charisma Machine and questioned Lopatto's generalizations.
