A small plane crashes in Brazil, pilot killed

A reporter from the main station learned that on April 3 local time, a small plane crashed in Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil. Fire broke out at the scene, and thick black smoke billowed. The crash site is located in a residential area, and footage recorded by nearby residents shows the fire and heavy smoke at the scene. According to the fire department, during the flight the plane struck a utility pole and then crashed into a house. The residents inside the house have evacuated safely, and a pilot unfortunately died. (CCTV News)
