According to a report by the Iranian Students’ News Agency, the Deputy Governor of Boyer-Ahmad-Kojilu Province encouraged local residents to hunt down U.S. military pilots who had fallen in the area. The report stated that the provincial governor said that local security and military forces are fully searching for the U.S. pilots, and individuals or groups who successfully capture or eliminate enemy personnel will receive special recognition from the provincial government.
