Lately, I’ve increasingly felt that my biggest skill on the chain is "waiting": waiting for confirmation, waiting for snapshots, waiting to think things through. Governance is even more absurd; delegated voting was originally meant to save effort, but over time it has turned into just a few addresses deciding everything. Basically, governance tokens are controlled by “who has the time/resources/contacts to campaign.” As someone who mainly keeps track of transactions and balances, I can only add my delegatee to a list and review it periodically, to avoid accidentally handing my vote to a “perpetually correct” oligarch… Anti-witchcraft measures are strict, and ordinary people find it hard even to express themselves.

These days, I see discussions about whether projects will migrate after certain mainstream public chains upgrade, and I’m also waiting—waiting for the chain to stop acting up, waiting for wallets not to freeze, waiting for communities not to raise governance thresholds during upgrades. Anyway, I’ll just observe first, don’t act too hastily.
