Been diving for a long time, but I still want to say: many people talk about "seeing some abnormal movements on the chain," but what you see might already be half a beat late… It’s not necessarily that you’re slow, it could be that the node/RPC/index layer is “queuing.” Sometimes, for the same transaction, the confirmation times I see on my mobile wallet and browser can differ quite a bit, not to mention some data dashboards that need to fetch events and run indexes, and a lag makes it seem like nothing happened.
So recently, when the staking and shared security setups get criticized as “copycat,” I can understand. The compounded yields sound appealing, but the longer the information chain, the more annoying the delays and errors become. To put it simply, you think you’re watching real-time data, but you’re actually looking at a replay. I tend to reduce my positions before sleep, and this kind of delay makes me even more anxious… Anyway, I’d rather earn a little less than base my decisions on a “possibly delayed chain.”
