Lately, I've been noticing that on-chain data keeps "lagging" every now and then. At first, I thought my internet was acting up again... Later, I checked the logs and realized that many apps are actually queuing behind the scenes: the moment you click, it either goes to make an RPC call to fetch raw data, but when RPC rate limits kick in, you have to wait; or it uses an indexer/Subgraph, and if the indexer hasn't caught up with the latest blocks, you'll see a gap where "I clearly saw activity on the chain, but the page hasn't updated yet." Basically, it's like map navigation—traffic conditions are real-time, but there's always a slight delay between your phone and the server, especially on popular chains or during peak times, when everyone is congested, and data latency becomes more noticeable. By the way, recently, some regions have been tightening and loosening regulations and taxes, which affects deposit and withdrawal expectations. On-chain activity fluctuates wave after wave, and the underlying infrastructure pressure also rises and falls accordingly. That's all for now.
