Last night I was a bit scared... I almost took a transaction as "settled" and went to sleep, but in the morning I saw it was still stuck in that semi-dead state. Later I thought about it, and honestly, don’t be scared by terms like "data availability / ordering / finality"—just focus on one main thread: Has the data really been released, who is queuing to package it for you, and when exactly is this transaction considered irreversible. Before finality, I still treat it as "not happened yet," and mark the record with a question mark.

By the way, I want to complain that recently everyone is again interpreting on-chain large transfers and exchange hot/cold wallet movements as "smart money"... I see more of it, and it makes me more cautious: moving funds back and forth doesn’t necessarily mean a pump is coming, it could just be address changes, risk control, or internal rebalancing. Anyway, I follow my checklist: try small amounts first, wait for confirmation, then add more—slower but I sleep peacefully.
