I’ve found that the most torturous thing at the end of the year isn’t the market—it’s filling in transaction records... So now every time I interact on-chain, do CEX deposits or withdrawals, or swap tokens, I just toss the time/txid/notes into a table on the side, plus “save screenshots” as a running joke—honestly, it can really save your life. In any case, don’t expect the platform to give you a complete one-click export later, especially with cross-chain and aggregator-type transactions—you miss one entry and you’ll start doubting your whole life.

Lately, AI Agent and automated trading have been pretty popular, and I’ve tried a few too. What I’m most worried about isn’t whether it makes money—it’s what exactly it signs for me and which contracts it goes through. Straight up: if you don’t leave a trail in advance for filing/reporting, then at the end of the year you’ll only be able to rely on memory + prayers... I’d rather do a little less messing around, keep my books neatly and reliably maintained—so for now, that’s how I’ll do it.
