A camera module built for near darkness runs on less than 1 watt

Teledyne e2v has launched the Caiman imaging module, a compact, lightweight solution designed for demanding low-light applications. Built around the OnyxMax sensor, it offers high sensitivity and image quality with very low power consumption (under 1W) and high speeds. The module is ideal for night vision, surveillance, laser detection, and scientific imaging, and will be showcased at SPIE Defense + Security.
