These days, I’ve been looking at new L1/L2 projects that are again focusing on incentivizing to boost TVL, and veteran users in the group are complaining about "mining, then selling."

I'm actually more concerned about another small issue: the delay in oracle price feeds.
To put it simply, no matter how stable your leverage is, if the market suddenly swings sharply, the on-chain price moves first, and the feed price lags behind.
This makes the health of your position feel like it’s been paused; when it updates, it might jump straight from "okay" to "liquidation line."
The worst part is, you think you still have time to add margin, but in reality, you’re just seeing the old price.

I now try not to touch pools with unclear update frequencies, high volatility, and a bunch of incentives.
If I do play, I leave a large margin for the liquidation price, preferring to earn less.
Because liquidation isn’t about losing a little; it’s about being forced to sell at the worst possible moment.
