These days, I see everyone starting to check in for the airdrop season again, and the task platforms are getting more and more detailed with anti-witchcraft measures. The points system is forcing the degens to grind like they’re at work... It makes my eyes sore, and my neck is a bit stiff too. Anyway, I’m too lazy to keep up.

By the way, it reminded me of cross-chain stuff: whether you call it IBC or “message passing,” what exactly do you believe after crossing? Honestly, it’s about trusting the consensus/finality of both chains, trusting that lightweight clients/verification logic won’t be compromised, trusting that relays/ordering won’t do small tricks, and also trusting that the target chain’s contracts won’t lose your assets. Bridges are more straightforward, often requiring additional trust in multi-signatures or validators, which makes it psychologically hard to treat your assets as “long-term holdings without watching.” Cross-chain is usable, but I now prefer: if I can avoid crossing, I do. If I really need to cross, I treat it as a one-time move, and don’t keep it as a warehouse on the bridge.
