Grid/DCA—put simply—is like buying insurance for sleep: you don’t have to keep staring at the charts every day; the system gradually grinds your emotions down over time. On the flip side, a one-shot “all-in” matches people of the type who are willing to trade sleepless nights for possible thrills, but most people overestimate the drawdown level they can truly endure.

Others think they’re all-in because their conviction is rock-solid. In reality, when they start losing, they look for reasons and go refresh testnet points to comfort themselves: “Anyway, the mainnet might issue tokens…” Laugh it off—markets never reward confidence; they only reward how aggressively you squeeze fees and how timidly you manage your positions. My approach is rather boring: if I can break it up, I break it up; if I can split it into batches, I split it into batches. Sleeping well matters more than winning one round.
