AI Agents can now run on-chain and click buttons by themselves, but frankly, the truly critical parts that require human oversight are those "life-or-death" details: how much authorization to give, why the routing suddenly takes a longer path, pushing through high Gas fees, and that one glance before signing—whether this transaction is really what you want. No matter how smart the aggregator is, when faced with large slippage or a thin pool, it still produces a seemingly beautiful route, only to land with a failed execution.
Recently, the community has been quite divided over privacy coins/mixing compliance boundaries, and I’m even less willing to entrust the "intent judgment" to an Agent; tools are tools, but the responsibility still lies with humans.
I no longer believe that "full automation = peace of mind," at least when it comes to wallet permissions—I’d rather spend an extra two minutes dealing with it myself.
