Recently, looking at DAO proposals feels a bit like browsing a supermarket: on the surface, it says "for the betterment of the community," but the fine print underneath is all about who gets the coupons... Some tie voting rights tightly to incentives, so if you don't vote along, you can't get the sweeteners; some even shove key permissions into "emergency multisig," essentially whoever can hit the pause button. What's even funnier is that the discussion area is full of memes and "support support" comments, like meme trends shifting, and once attention shifts, no one cares about the details. Veteran players say don't take the final baton; my current approach is: before voting, see where the money flows and where the power consolidates, whether to vote or not is another matter, at least don't be a background NPC in the storyline.
