Recently, someone kept telling me "It's all written on the chain," but the "on-chain" you see might already be outdated... I've been burned before: for the same transfer, my page hasn't moved yet, but the other side has already confirmed and moved on to the next step. To put it simply, what you're seeing isn't necessarily the chain itself, but the entry point you're connected to that might be lagging, or the data people behind the scenes are slow by half a beat. Small fund arbitrage is most afraid of this delay; a difference of ten or twenty seconds can turn profit into a job loss. Now, with the rumors of compliance and tax increases, deposit and withdrawal emotions are even more sensitive, and everyone wants to "see results quickly," but the more impatient you are, the easier you are to be fooled by fake real-time updates. Anyway, I now have just one sentence: don't trust stories, check the settlement first, and if it's slow, change your approach.
