Golden Finance reports that on April 25th, according to CCTV International News, Iran’s Hatam Anbia Central Command issued a statement saying that if the U.S. military continues to implement “blockades, maritime interceptions, and piracy activities” in the region, they will face a strong counterattack from Iranian armed forces. The statement said that the United States should recognize that Iran’s armed forces have greater capabilities and readiness in safeguarding national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests than before, and these capabilities have been demonstrated in previous conflicts. The statement also indicated that Iran will continue to monitor enemy actions and movements and maintain control over the Strait of Hormuz. If the enemy takes further action, Iran will respond with more severe strikes.
