The 8G95 model liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel marine engine, manufactured by Hengli Engine (Dalian) Co., Ltd., was delivered in Dalian on the 21st. The engine’s height reaches 16 meters, weighs over 1,600 tons, and has a maximum power output of 54,960 kilowatts. Its successful delivery marks a significant technological breakthrough for China in the field of high-end marine engines, injecting “Chinese power” into the global shipping industry’s low-carbon development.
