China Academy of Information and Communications Technology's He Bo: China has initially established a legal regulatory framework for artificial intelligence

Golden Finance reported that on April 25, at the 2026 New Beijing Think Tank Spring Forum sub-forum titled “‘Artificial Intelligence+’ in Progress—From Technological Race to Deepening in Scenarios,” He Bo, Director of the Internet Law Research Center of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and a senior engineer, said that the robust development of China’s artificial intelligence industry cannot be separated from high-quality legal protection. We have always regarded artificial intelligence—this new technology—as an important component of overall internet governance and the development of rule of law in cyberspace. At present, China has initially established a framework of artificial intelligence legal regulation covering multiple dimensions such as algorithms, data, and applications.(Dongxin News Agency)
