Recently, all kinds of social mining and point-earning tasks have been flooding my feed again. I click around for the whole night, and the next day I see an extra badge—but somehow it leaves me feeling a bit empty… To put it plainly, status is pretty romantic, but if you’re only being pulled along by tasks, it’s like handing your time over to help someone else grow. Especially lately, it’s been one round of Meme and celebrity call-out predictions after another—the attention switches too fast. The old player’s line, “Don’t take the last relay leg,” now sounds surprisingly good to my ears.

I’m also adjusting things: I’ve scaled my goals down—for example, every day I only do one or two ecosystem projects I truly want to follow. I’ll also jot down a bit of on-chain data as a way to cool off, and not try to grab everything. As a result, I’ve been sticking with it longer, and it’s easier to see who’s really committed to building seriously. Badges can come slowly—don’t let it drain your life. For now, that’s my plan.
