Lido Proposes Up to 2,500 stETH for Aave Rescue: Joint Effort to Contain rsETH Risk Spillover
On April 24, Lido Finance proposed in a governance forum to provide a one-time injection of up to 2,500 stETH to the Aave-led rsETH rescue plan, aimed at filling collateral gaps and reducing risks from spilling over into the DeFi ecosystem. This proposal is being advanced in conjunction with the ‘DeFi United’ joint action, contingent on the overall rescue plan achieving full funding coverage, with the goal of stabilizing the market and facilitating orderly resolution for affected users.
