Actually, everyone understands that the social mining approach is just using badges and points to keep people engaged, and after a while, it’s gone. Recently, I’ve been watching gas and the rhythm of blocks, and I found many addresses still testing on the testnet late at night, purely for those “point expectations.” In chat groups, people are asking every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens… Basically, they’re being kept in suspense by uncertainty.

I myself now am more like a gambler but not a fool: I only choose two types of tasks—either ones with low on-chain interaction costs and easy to verify new mechanisms; or ones where I can see the tricks of MEV and ordering game theory. The others that require you to post ten tweets or jump into twenty topics, forget it. I’d rather take a quick look at whether the mempool is hot. Identity-wise, what’s truly valuable isn’t the avatar frame, but the “habit” you leave on the chain. Don’t waste your time just for a badge.
