Lately I keep hearing people talk about "modularization," which basically boils down to two things for ordinary users: cheaper and faster, or more fragmented and chaotic. Before, you only focused on one chain's wallet and browser, but now there are a bunch of DAs, order books, bridges, layer two solutions— the experience feels like it's been disassembled into parts and then reassembled, and if any link fails, you have to take the blame yourself.

Writing scripts to run strategies has become a bit more convenient—more routes, more opportunities—but the permissions side is even more intimidating: a bunch of authorizations, cross-chain messages, upgradeable contracts. Just one "emergency upgrade" makes me want to stop and think first. Recently, AI Agents + automated trading are also quite popular. I don’t care who’s pushing the narrative; the real focus on security is surprisingly scarce... I no longer believe the phrase "leave it to the robots and you'll be worry-free." Anyway, now I’d rather go slower, with more confirmation steps.
