My cousin is 37 years old and divorced. She initiated it herself. No infidelity, no domestic violence, no conflicts with her mother-in-law.

One day, she was sitting on the sofa, and her husband was on the opposite side scrolling through his phone.
Suddenly, she couldn’t remember the last time they looked at each other directly.
She said, "Let's get a divorce." He looked up at her.
He said, "Okay." Then he lowered his head and kept scrolling.
She waited for him all afternoon.
He didn’t say anything again.
The next day, they went to the civil affairs bureau.
While taking photos, she saw herself on the screen.
She had lost weight. Her face showed no expression.
The photographer said, "Smile."
She smiled.
The person next to her also smiled.
The camera flashed.
Two smiling faces.
The photo on the divorce certificate had that picture attached.
She held it in her hand and looked at it for a long time.
Then she said, "Look, how well we smile."
He glanced at it.
He said, "Hmm."
Then he left.
She put the divorce certificate away.
Took a photo of it.
Sent it to me.
With the caption: "The last time we smiled like this was on the day we took our marriage certificate."
Later, she printed out that photo, framed it, and placed it with their wedding photo.
Someone asked, "Why keep them together after the divorce?"
She said, "They’re all my photos."
Last year, she remarried.
At the wedding, she took out that frame.
The groom looked at it.
He asked, "Where should I put this?"
She said, "In the study."
The groom said, "Okay."
Then he also took out his divorce certificate.
He said, "Just in time for a pair."
Now, on the bookshelf in the study, there are two frames—
One with her and him,
And the other with her and herself.
Both are smiling.
