Iranian ambassador to Russia: Iran's Supreme Leader may meet with Putin for the first time during the Caspian Sea summit

Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said that the first meeting between Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei and Russian President Vladimir Putin could take place during the Caspian Sea summit. Jalali told the Russian news agency TASS that Iran has not canceled plans to hold the Caspian Sea summit in Tehran this year. If conditions allow, the summit will be held, and Mujtaba and Putin may meet during the summit. (Xinhua)
