Hey, I found out that MetaMask has launched a real card in the US now. Like, you can spend crypto normally, just like any other card. I thought it was pretty interesting because unlike other crypto cards, you keep your coins in your wallet until you use them, then convert only what’s necessary. It’s not that scheme of leaving everything on an exchange. The really cool part is that it’s now available in New York too, where it wasn’t before. And if you use it a lot, there’s a premium metal card that gives up to 3% cashback on the first ten thousand dollars per year. It works with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and at over 150 million merchants worldwide. Mastercard is supporting the expansion of MetaMask to all 50 states, so it really seems like it’s getting easier to use crypto in everyday life without all that friction. You can also earn yields on your balances that you don’t spend, through platforms like Aave. Have you tried something like this or do you think crypto cards are still a bit complicated?
