Trump Gold Card Program Has One Approved Applicant

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Trump’s Gold Card visa program has approved only one applicant so far. Howard Lutnick said the program is intended to replace the EB-5 immigrant investor program and requires at least $1 million from individuals or $2 million per foreign employee from companies, plus a 1% annual maintenance fee. Howard Lutnick had previously said the program sold $1.3 billion of slots within days and could raise $1 trillion, while hundreds of applications remain under review.
