IDF extends reserve personnel combat deployment period from 7 weeks to 9 weeks

On April 3rd, local time, the Israel Defense Forces announced that the deployment period for reserve personnel has been extended from 7 weeks to 9 weeks. The Israel Defense Forces stated that, given the ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon, the continuous ground combat, and deployments in certain areas of the Gaza Strip, the military has adjusted its operational deployment plans for the coming months, extending the deployment period for reserve personnel. The IDF statement pointed out that this adjustment applies only to reserve personnel who are about to be conscripted.
