American Industrial Partners to acquire Honeywell warehouse automation

American Industrial Partners (AIP) is set to acquire Honeywell’s Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS) business, which generated $935 million in revenue in 2025. This acquisition is part of Honeywell’s strategy to streamline its operations and focus on higher-growth segments, intending to combine WWS with AIP’s existing portfolio company Trew to create a significant platform in warehouse automation. The move follows Honeywell’s plan to split into three public companies and its recent sale of the Productivity Solutions and Services business to Brady Corp., while other companies like Home Depot are also expanding their warehouse automation capabilities.
