BlockBeats News, April 25 — XChat, the independent messaging app under the X platform (formerly Twitter), officially launched on the App Store, and users can now download and start using it. XChat is currently prioritized on iOS, with the Android version coming soon.

It is reported that XChat supports users to log in directly with their X account binding, no phone number or email required, using end-to-end encryption, so messages are only visible to both parties, and the platform cannot read them; it supports self-destructing messages and transfer of any files.

In addition, XChat deeply integrates xAI’s Grok intelligent assistant, allowing users to summon Grok directly within the chat interface to ask questions, generate images, and summarize content, without switching apps.
