There is talk about a change in the Worldcoin unlock schedule. It seems that starting July 24th, the daily unlock amount of WLD will be significantly reduced. Currently, it’s at a pace of 5.1 million tokens per day, but this will drop to 2.9 million tokens, which is about a 43% cut.

It appears that tokens allocated for the community will be particularly affected. The amount will be halved from 3.2 million to 1.6 million tokens. The allocations for the team and investors are also expected to decrease from 1.9 million to 1.3 million tokens. Since the unlocks will still happen gradually each day, it won’t be a sudden release all at once.

As of now, out of the total supply of 10 billion WLD tokens, 4.9 billion have been unlocked, and approximately 3.3 billion are actually in circulation. It seems that Worldcoin’s token release strategy has finally entered an adjustment phase.
