These days, the on-chain data keeps getting “stuck,” and at first I even thought my internet was acting weird again… then I figured it’s probably the indexer/Subgraph falling behind, or the RPC getting rate-limited. Plainly put, what you’re seeing isn’t that the chain has actually stopped—it’s that middle layer that’s queuing up: the indexer has to scan blocks and do caching, and when requests from the nodes pile up, they pinch you off, so the page feels like it can’t breathe.

When that happens, I tell myself to “pause” first—stop myself from clicking transactions at random, stop and watch so I don’t get carried away by a single candlestick, and even stop spam-scrolling through group messages. Especially when funding rates get extremely out of whack: everyone’s arguing about whether to reverse or keep squeezing the bubble, and I—well—I’d rather step back and have a cup of tea first… When the data is this laggy, it’s even easier for emotions to run away with you. For now, that’s it.
