Changhong Energy: Plans to invest approximately 999 million yuan to build a high-rate lithium battery production base in Malaysia

Changhong Energy announced that to enhance the company’s overseas competitive advantage, deepen cooperation with international strategic clients, and support the healthy development of core industries, the company’s controlling subsidiary Changhong Sanjie New Energy Co., Ltd. plans to establish a new company, Changhong Sanjie (Malaysia) New Energy Co., Ltd., as the project implementation entity. The project involves investing in the construction of a high-rate lithium battery manufacturing base in Malaysia, with a total planned investment of approximately 999 million RMB. This investment is intended to serve as a fundraising project through a targeted stock issuance in 2026. Of the construction funds, 803 million RMB is planned to be raised through the offering, with the remaining funds to be sourced through self-raised or self-financed methods.
