Brazilian President Lula discharged after surgery

Brazilian President Lula underwent minor surgery in São Paulo on the morning of the 24th, removing a skin lesion on his scalp, and was discharged on the same day. Brazilian media reported that Lula removed a basal cell carcinoma lesion, and the treatment process went smoothly without complications. The lesion is usually related to long-term sun exposure and does not spread to other parts of the body. In addition, Lula also received localized injections in his right hand to relieve tendinitis symptoms. (Xinhua News Agency)
