A spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Defense said the Strait of Hormuz remains under Iran’s control. The spokesperson said the strait is a strategic tool for achieving Iran’s national demands. Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that the spokesperson also said enemy forces withdrew from the Gulf of Oman after repeated Iranian counterattacks.
