Trump's lawsuit against the U.S. Treasury Department and the IRS faces court questioning
Odaily Planet Daily News reports that U.S. President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of the Treasury has been questioned by the court. U.S. District Judge Catherine Williams pointed out that, given Trump’s actual influence over both parties in the lawsuit, there is doubt as to whether the case involves a “genuine adversarial controversy,” and she has requested the Department of Justice to submit a written explanation by May 20, clarifying how the court has jurisdiction to hear the case.
