Google has launched something that actually works in Chrome — Skills from Google that let you save repetitive commands and call them up with just one click. That means if you're using Gemini and keep typing the same commands over and over, you can save them as a 'Skill' and then activate it directly on any web page.

The process is very simple — after you type an effective command in a Gemini conversation, save it from the chat history, and next time, type '/' or press '+' to invoke it. The important thing is that Google also provided ready-made templates — analyzing food components, comparing product specifications, extracting information from long files. All these Skills from Google are customizable based on your needs.

The feature is now available on Chrome desktop (Mac and Windows and ChromeOS) but only in English for now. And the nice part is that it syncs across your account, so it’s available on all your devices. Has anyone tried the Skills already?
