These past two days, the explanations that “ETF fund flows = the switch for whether the crypto market goes up or down” and “when U.S. stocks’ risk appetite shifts, crypto has to kneel/fly along” have been flooding my feed again—it’s starting to annoy me a bit… The attention economy really is brutal. When one hot topic cycles out, people can’t help chasing their emotions, paying tuition over and over.

For now, I’m trying a clunky workaround: first, check what made me enter this trade—was it on-chain congestion, thin liquidity, or just plain FOMO? Especially if details like the packing order/nonce get messed up, the slippage “tax” turns straight into a clear “fee.” Yesterday, for a moment, I even wanted to quit the market app and uninstall Twitter, just to stop myself from getting itchy; but then I thought, uninstalling it would only mean swapping to another place to be anxious… Forget it. I’ll just turn off the reminders, set the limit prices properly, and don’t let hot topics place orders for me.
