First Innovation Environmental responds to Haining project: biochemical section energy consumption decreased by 54%, achieving zero-carbon source injection

Vice General Manager Huang Miansong of Chuangyuan Environmental Protection Group responded on April 21 that the core technology of aerobic granular sludge has centralized advantages, which can achieve in-situ expansion and renovation of wastewater treatment plants without the need for new land acquisition, reducing investment and shortening construction periods. At the same time, its simplified process can significantly reduce electricity consumption and chemical usage. In Haining, Zhejiang, the company has already achieved a 54% reduction in biochemical stage energy consumption. By April 2026, the project also achieved zero-carbon source dosing and a reduction in phosphorus removal chemicals, which will greatly contribute to annual operational cost savings.
