Merit Financial Group LLC significantly increased its stake in Las Vegas Sands Corp. by 213.4% in the fourth quarter, acquiring 36,432 additional shares to reach a total of 53,503 shares valued at approximately $3.48 million. This comes as CEO Patrick Dumont recently sold a portion of his shares, reducing his direct ownership by over 10%. Las Vegas Sands also reported strong fourth-quarter earnings, beating analyst estimates with an EPS of $0.85 and a 26% year-over-year revenue increase, and subsequently raised its quarterly dividend.
