I have recently been thinking deeply about Claude Skills and I believe it is bringing a major change in how AI works. The problem so far was that every time you wanted AI to do a task, you had to give long instructions. If you wanted a weekly report, you had to specify the title size, format, where to get data from. Still, mistakes would happen. Skills has changed this entire process.
In simple language, Skills is a standardized toolkit that instantly makes AI an expert. It’s not just a sentence, but a smart folder that contains three things. First, a detailed operation manual explaining how to write everything. Second, standard templates that company Word or Excel files use. Third, Python scripts that perform complex data calculations automatically. The result is that you just say once, “Write the report,” and AI handles everything correctly.
What I find most attractive is its concept of size. Initially, it’s just a tool, but when it grows, it will change the entire way AI works. You can stack “Data Analysis Skills” and “Translation Skills” like Lego blocks. Or different AI agents can work together. When one agent can’t do a task, it finds another agent in the market with that skill. It’s just like specialists working with each other.
This is where Web3’s role becomes important. If a single AI is considered a neuron, then Skills are the synapses connecting them. But it’s not just technical; it’s economic too. When someone packs their core business logic into a Skill, it becomes a valuable asset. Through Web3, you can sell it, rent it, or share it with others. Fingerprint registration on the blockchain ensures no one can alter it.
Talking about security, Web3 provides three layers. First, each Skill has a unique digital fingerprint. Second, this fingerprint is recorded on an immutable blockchain. Third, a local security device verifies before each execution. This keeps your intellectual property completely safe.
Understanding the concept of size is essential because it’s not just technical but signals a new economic system. From one to a hundred, this value creates a network where every expertise is prepared within a secure framework for global collaboration. This is the future of silicon-based civilization, where intelligence flows like water and electricity.
