U.S. Treasury Announces New Iran Sanctions Linked to $344M USDT Freeze
The U.S. Treasury announced new Iran-related sanctions tied to the recent freeze of more than $344 million in USDT. Treasury said the frozen funds were held in two addresses linked to the Iranian government. Tether previously said it froze the assets in cooperation with U.S. authorities.
