Today I saw someone watching a whale address and shouting "Follow, follow," again. My first reaction wasn't to rush in, but to think: Is this building a position or hedging... The same large order might just be him opening a short on the other side as a cover, to put it plainly, we only see the surface waves, not the anchor underwater.

Recently, the staking unlocks and token unlock calendar keep getting mentioned over and over, and the anxiety about selling pressure rings out like an alarm clock nonstop. But if a whale really wants to run, they usually don't rush to show you at the exact second you can screenshot.

I've also had the impulse to just exit and uninstall, it's too noisy, the slippage feels like a rhyme, hitting my head over and over... But thinking about the liquidity depth of AMM pools, jumping in single-handedly is like catching a waterfall with a paper cup—most of what you catch will splash out. Anyway, now when I see "whale movements," I wait a bit, at least until their second sentence: are they hugging, or protecting?
